Nemesis

Nemesis was the Goddess of Divine Justice and Vengeance. Her anger is directed toward human transgression of the natural, right order of things, and of the arrogance causing it. She pursues the insolent and the wicked with inflexible vengeance. Nemesis is the daughter of Erebus and Nyx and originated from Smyrna. She was a serious looking woman and in her left hand she carried a whip, a rein, a sword, or a pair of scales. The name Nemesis means “Ultimate or Unbeatable Enemy”
